General questions for new models / kids

1. Who is New Model agency? New Model is one of the oldest agencies in the field of fashion, advertising and serials with presence since 1990. It has one of the largest clientele in the Greek market and is expanding worldwide in collaboration with the largest advertising companies and photographers. It has a capacity of more than 4000 models of all ages.

2. What do I need to do in order to take part in a photoshoot or a TV commercial? You will have to participate in castings. The more castings you attend, the more chances you have to be selected.

3. Who will call me to let me know if I will have to go to a casting? Only the bookers working at New Model. First you will receive an SMS on your mobile phone with the details of the company that organizes the casting and once you see the message you should call the agency (+30 2109966234) to let us know if you can attend so we can give you further details.

4. A gentleman who is not from my Agency called and told me to go to an audition for a job. Should I go? NO! You should keep his details and inform your agency immediately. You should also inform him that you attend castings only through New Model.

5. How should I dress in castings?

BOYS: jeans and shirt or t-shirt (no sweatpants).

GIRLS: jeans and t-shirt or loose dresses. NO leggings, NO sweatpants, NO makeup and NO pink clothes. Hair should be down without hair pins.

6. Can my family be with me in a casting or if I am chosen in a photo or TV commercial? Unfortunately only one attendant is allowed to be with the child.

7. If I am not selected for a casting for advertising or photography will I have to go again? Yes! Children are constantly changing and therefore auditions should be repeated. In addition, it helps children become more comfortable with the lens and the field.

8. How long does a casting or photo / TV commercial last? A casting lasts about 5 minutes, but if we take into account the waiting time, we may reach about one hour. A photo shoot lasts from 4 to 8 hours while a TV commercial lasts 1-2 hours extra. In rare cases, you may need to stay longer. For small kids, It is recommended to have some of his/her toys with you.

9. My mom gave her personal details at a casting I went to. Did she do well? NO! The attendant must always give the child's precise name, exactly as he / she wrote it in the application you filled out when you registered, and always include the name of your agency.

10. Can I belong to another agency so I can attend to castings more often and book more jobs? NO! When a child belongs to more than one agency, it is difficult for the client to choose booking him from one agency, while risking his relationship with the other. In most cases, the client will immediately inform the agencies and they will most likely not take into account the specific child for the purposes of the job. Therefore, kids belonging to more than one agency simultaneously end up going to auditions for no reason.

11. Can all children take part in a photo shoot for children's clothes or in a TV commercial…? Generally yes! Each TV ad or photoshoot requires different characters and ages. When there is persistence in following castings, children are usually rewarded with booking a job, even after a long time.

12. What are my obligations towards my Agency?

A. Go to the castings. THIS IS THE ONLY WAY YOU WILL SUCCEED.

B. When asked regarding your availability of booking your child in an ad or photoshoot for specific dates and times, and you provide us with an answer about it with the details of your availability, you are NOT able to change your mind afterwards. After receiving you answer, it is sent to the customer and we can create a really big issue if, for any reason, we change your availability. That is why you should always think and answer with certainty about your availability.

C. Always be on time and be patient during your stay in rehearsals or shootings

D. Be polite to customers so as not to offend your agency

E. THERE SHOULD BE NO CHANGE IN THE CHILD'S HAIR, IF THE AGENCY IS NOT INFORMED ABOUT IT FIRST.

F. ALWAYS INFORM YOUR AGENCY OF ANY CHANGE IN PHONE Nr OR ADDRESS.

G. Every 4-5 months or so, you must go through the agency to update your photos and videos. All updates require appointment.

13. What will you do with the photos you took of me? The photos will be sent by email to all customers and possibly be uploaded to the New Model Kids website www.newmodelkids.gr

14. Can a friend of mine also register to the Agency? We would be very happy for you to suggest us to your friends so that they can participate in the field of advertising. They can also express their interest at http://www.newmodelkids.gr/en/become-a-model/ in order for us to contact them

15. HOW DO I GET PAID? Model payments are made when the agency is paid by the client, and always at least 6 months after the working date. You should know that in the field of television and photography, payments are made quite late, as is the case for all well-known actors and models. TV commercials, photo shoots, TV series, catwalks and speakages are paid on average in 8-12 months. In any case, if the model has not been paid then the agency has not been paid as well. The first contact with the agency for their payment should be made on the first Friday of each month at 00-12.00 in the morning at 2109966234, after 6 months from the shooting date. Indicatively, it is mentioned that for a shooting that took place in December, the interested party should contact the agency at 10.00 - 12.00 on the first Friday of July. Those interested will be informed about the exact date and time of their payment by SMS which will be sent to the models' mobile phones 3 weeks later from the first Friday of the month, and only when the agency has been paid by the customer. The agency reserves the right to defer payments for any serious reason. In August the agency remains closed.

THE SUCCESS OF THE CHILD DEPENDS ON HIS PERSONALITY AND HIS REGULAR PARTICIPATION IN CASTINGS.
